Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking skilled and experienced Steel Welders for opportunities in the Smithville, Tennessee area. Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on structural and fabricated steel components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications
  • Measure and lay out materials accurately using tape measures and precision measuring tools
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
  • Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies

Requirements

  • Previous steel welding experience required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
  • Strong mathematical and measurement skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
