Overview

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join Teledyne Relays, a leader in precision switching solutions. The role involves working in a collaborative environment to contribute to mission-critical technology in various industrial growth markets.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a microscope for assembly tasks.
  • Read and understand assembly drawings and procedures.
  • Perform semi-routine assignments with general instructions.
  • Conduct visual inspections of solder joints, wiring, and staking to IPC J-STD-001 standards.
  • Assemble small components using a microscope.
  • Adjust relays, switches, or other electronics.
  • Test relays, switches, or other electronics.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (required).
  • 2 to 4 years of mechanical assembly experience (required).
  • Current or previous certification as an IPC J-STD-001 Inspector (CIS) up to Space level preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and operation procedures.
  • Effective communication skills with leads, supervisors, customers, and colleagues.
  • Common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Good eye-hand coordination and dexterity to assemble small parts.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) (required).
