Overview

VIAVI is a global provider of network test, monitoring and assurance solutions, seeking Manufacturing Technicians for their new facility in Chandler. The role involves set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of various components and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Determine and develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
  • Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems.
  • Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
  • Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
  • Assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Shift flexibility is required.
  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift experience is preferred.
  • Experience in materials handling, machine cleaning, and quality assurance.

Additional Information

  • Night shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday + every other Saturday (6p – 6a).
  • Location: 3455 South McQueen Road, Chandler.
