Overview

This position is for applicants with 0 to 3 years of welding experience, including green employees. The role involves welding structural metal components as specified by blueprints, work orders, or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Welds together structural metal components as specified by blueprints, work orders, or oral instructions.
  • Utilizes knowledge of working characteristics of metallic and non-metallic materials.
  • Must be able to weld butts and bulbs in all positions and pass Ultrasonic (UT) and Magnetic Particle (MT) test methods.
  • Performs tank testing and associated duties as required.

Requirements

  • 0 to 3 years of welding experience or vocational training.
  • Ability to pass a welding test in the overhead and vertical positions.
