Overview

The Cage Repairer (Poultry Live Haul) is primarily responsible for welding cages used to transport chickens, ordering repair parts, and maintaining inventory. The role includes assisting with loading and unloading cages and performing other relevant tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Order repair parts and maintain inventory.
  • Repair and maintain cages.
  • Assist with loading and unloading cages as needed.
  • Maintain proper inventory of tools and supplies.

Requirements

  • Welder certification required.
  • Adherence to animal welfare regulations required.
  • Ability to travel regularly to assigned farms.
  • Physical ability to frequently lift 50 lbs.
