Overview

The Welding Technician position involves welding fabrications and other tasks as directed, requiring expertise in various welding techniques for steel and aluminum. Candidates must have prior experience and a strong background in bench and MIG welding.

Responsibilities

  • Weld fabrications or other work as directed by Lead Person or Supervisor.
  • Demonstrate high capability of welding all types of steel and aluminum.
  • Work within precise limits.
  • Perform bench and MIG welding on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel.
  • Possess department-specific skills such as chassis prep, crane assembly, hook lift assembly, installation mechanic, and rebuild and repair.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in welding.
  • Strong background and knowledge regarding welding techniques.
  • Experience in bench and MIG welding.
