We're partnering with a 65+ year family-owned manufacturer in Crystal Lake, IL, that is experiencing rapid growth and has work booked for years into the future. This position is ideal for skilled welders seeking stability, overtime, and long-term career growth.

Responsibilities

  • MIG & TIG weld steel and stainless steel components
  • Read and interpret blueprints and weld drawings
  • Fabricate and assemble custom industrial equipment
  • Perform quality checks to ensure specifications are met

Requirements

  • 2+ years of MIG welding experience
  • TIG welding experience is a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints and drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Fabrication or industrial manufacturing experience preferred

What you'll be running

This posting calls for MIG and TIG work. MIG (GMAW) feeds a continuous wire electrode through a shielding-gas nozzle. TIG (GTAW) uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode with filler added by hand, giving the operator the most control of any process. It is slow, demanding, and the standard for stainless, aluminum, and anything where the bead has to look as good as it holds.
