Job Description
Overview
Marathon is currently seeking experienced MIG Welders for a warehouse facility in Newnan, GA. The MIG Welder will be responsible for welding component parts and finished products according to customer specifications, working under direct supervision to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding using pulse voltage
- Read and interpret blueprints for custom fabrication
- Complete tack welding and assist with jig fabrication
- Prepare and assemble components for final welding
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work under supervision
- Experience operating hand tools and welding equipment
- Must have experience with MIG Welding and pass a tape measure test
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable and punctual attendance
Additional Information
- This is a long-term, full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with room for growth
- Schedule: Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; Overtime opportunities available
- Must have reliable transportation to Newnan, GA
