NKC of America Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter Fabricator to join our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Will have to set up and use machinery including a Brake Press, Drill Press, Hydraulic press, Arbor Press, Tapping tools, Portable Plasma, Cutting Torch, Welding machine, Shear, various types of Saws, some Pipe Bending equipment, and in some cases Roll Mill.

• Knowledge of welding symbols, understand welding terms and be able to weld according to specifications along with our quality control person and NKC standards for welding.

• Able to design and set up Jigs and Fixtures for Production.

• Responsible for making sure the Jig or Fixture will work properly and the end result of the part or frame being fabricated is correctly built according to the drawings.

• Make sure all dimensions are kept and all material is parallel, perpendicular, with angles, degrees, and radiuses according to drawings.

• Check all material provided including any Laser plate, machined items, etc. to make sure the material is correct along with quantities according to the drawing before tacking and welding anything together.

• Responsible for keeping a safe and clean working environment

• Capable of reading blueprints and understanding work processes.

EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Technical Training and Knowledge of Welding
  • 4+ years of Fitter experience with Machinery and Fabrication Tools
  • Experience in Manufacturing and Job Shop
  • Experience with Conveyor Systems
  • Must be able to read Blueprints

SCHEDULE (DAY SHIFT)

  • Monday-Thursday 6:00AM~4:30PM, Friday 6:00AM-3:30PM
