Overview

The Welder at Weir ESCO in Elko, NV, will be responsible for heavy fabrication and repair work on large mining buckets and related industrial equipment. This role emphasizes safety, precision, and durability, requiring a strong background in welding thick materials and structural components.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on large scale mining buckets and heavy equipment components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Operate heavy-duty fabrication tools including grinders, torches, and plasma cutters.
  • Inspect welds for quality and compliance with specifications as determined by blueprints.
  • Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero harm behaviors in support of a world class safety culture.

Requirements

  • Ability to use and run an air arc.
  • Must pass a welding test to be considered for hire.
