Overview

Southern Specialties is growing in Tulsa and is seeking skilled Welders who take pride in precision, craftsmanship, and problem-solving. This opportunity is ideal for those experienced with MIG welding and looking to work in a clean, climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and weld components for sheet metal products using MIG and TIG.
  • Secure parts using fixtures, jigs, and holding tables.
  • Work with various metals including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, galvanneal, and exotic metals.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to meet precise specifications.
  • Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Troubleshoot weld issues and maintain high-quality standards.

Requirements

  • Proven MIG welding experience on carbon steel is required.
  • TIG experience with stainless steel and aluminum is a plus.
  • Fitter/Welder experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills and effective communication.

Additional Information

  • 3rd Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
  • Includes an additional 11.5% premium on top of base pay.
  • Climate-controlled shop with consistent schedules and 4 days off during the week.

What you'll be running
