Overview

Dabico A-Bridge LLC provides Passenger Boarding Bridges and maintenance solutions for airports and airlines worldwide. The Welder/Fabricator role involves welding, fabricating, and assembling components for these bridges, ensuring safety and quality in a dynamic aviation environment.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Perform various welding processes on metals.
  • Cut and shape materials as required.
  • Assemble structural components to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Inspect welds and fabricated parts.
  • Perform repairs or modifications on existing structures.
  • Collaborate with technicians and engineers for installation and maintenance.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain tools and equipment.
  • Complete work orders within established timelines.
  • Work occasional overtime or varied schedules as needed.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Welding and Arc Welding.
  • Hands-on experience with MIG Welding processes.
  • Knowledge of materials used in fabrication, including steel and other metals.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Experience with fabrication tools and equipment.
  • Good manual dexterity and physical stamina.
  • Previous experience in industrial, construction, or mechanical fabrication environments is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; welding certifications or vocational training in welding or metal fabrication are a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
