Overview

Automation Technology Inc. (ATI) is a premier designer and manufacturer of valve automation products and solutions, serving customers who require reliable and precise actuator systems. The Welder will fabricate and assemble components for valve automation systems using various welding processes while adhering to technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble components for valve automation systems using various welding processes.
  • Set up welding equipment and position and secure workpieces.
  • Perform welds and inspect completed work for accuracy, strength, and quality.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams.
  • Follow safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Help maintain equipment and a clean, organized work area.
  • Work with different metals and perform basic fitting tasks.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts in the shop.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with MIG Welding and TIG Welding.
  • Knowledge of materials used in industrial fabrication, including their properties and proper handling.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
  • Commitment to safety practices, including proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA and company guidelines.
  • Attention to detail with strong quality inspection skills and ability to identify defects and rework needs.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS) are a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in welding or metal fabrication is preferred.
  • Team-oriented mindset with reliable work habits and willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.

What you'll be running
