Overview

Corrpro Companies is seeking candidates with basic electrical experience for an entry level position as a Field Installation Technician for their Waterworks Division. The company specializes in corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring services.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a 2- or 3-person crew installing and servicing cathodic protection systems onto water storage tanks.
  • Install conduit, pull wires, splice wires, read basic drawings, and provide general service maintenance work.
  • Understand and follow the company’s safety policies and procedures.
  • Travel Monday through Friday to complete projects primarily located in Houston and surrounding states.
  • Document activities on Daily Field Reports.

Requirements

  • Experience operating basic hand tools and small power tools.
  • Basic electrical understanding.
  • Experience installing conduit, pulling wire, and understanding basic D.C. electrical circuits preferred.
  • Ability to climb water towers/water storage tanks as high as 200' is required.
  • Able to travel overnight on a weekly basis and work overtime with a typical workweek of 50+ hours.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills, as well as ability to work well within a team.
  • Beneficial to live within 1 to 2 hours from the office.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
