Overview

The laser operator plays a crucial role in the production of finished parts, working within a supportive and inclusive company culture.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team to achieve company goals.
  • Demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Meet production goals and deadlines for company projects.
  • Read and process written communication including work orders and measurements.
  • Work independently and under close supervision.
  • Demonstrate production competency and knowledge of production systems.
  • Rotate to other production positions as needed.
  • Operate appropriate equipment including fabricating machinery and crane.
  • Physically lift and maneuver weights in excess of fifty pounds.
  • Exhibit successful problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain professional relationships with supervisors, team members, and customers.
  • Work under physically and mentally stressful situations.
  • Prioritize and adapt to changes throughout the day.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year manufacturing or industry experience.
  • Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers, tape measures, and calipers.

Additional Information

  • This is a full-time hourly position.
  • Hours of work and days are decided by production schedules and reporting manager.
