Overview

Puretec Industrial Water is a family-owned company that specializes in transforming everyday city water into ultra-pure deionized water for critical applications across various industries. They are seeking a Service Technician I who is passionate about troubleshooting and problem-solving to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair water treatment equipment including water softeners and reverse osmosis units.
  • Diagnose issues, troubleshoot, and replace or repair parts as needed.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and advanced testing equipment.
  • Load, unload, and set up equipment at customer locations.
  • Work independently while adapting to new challenges and prioritizing safety.
  • Learn about new water purification technologies and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ensure customer systems run smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Mechanical and electrical know-how with a passion for troubleshooting.
  • DIY mentality with a passion for fixing and improving things.
  • Willingness to develop new skills.
  • Ability to work well with others and handle tasks independently.
  • Valid driver's license required for travel to customer sites.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Water Treatment Field Service experience preferred; candidates with 3-5 years of HVAC, Plumbing, Plant Maintenance, or Electrical experience will be considered.
