Overview

Silent-Aire, a division of Johnson Controls, is seeking Manufacturing Technicians with a minimum of 3 years of experience. The company specializes in owner equipment manufacturing (OEM) for data center customers, focusing on innovation and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints.
  • Use power tools, drills, grinders, saws, and hand tools.
  • Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work according to blueprints or drawings.
  • Fasten parts and components together using hand and power tools.
  • Clean and prepare the assembly line.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Manufacturing Technician.
  • Effective verbal and listening communication skills.
  • Time management skills.
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical diagrams.
  • Critical eye for identifying defects.
  • Commitment to quality and safety.
  • Ability to determine the correct tools and equipment needed for a job.
  • Ability to complete daily activities according to work schedule.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
  • Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required.
  • Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination.

  • 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday: 2pm-12:30am.
  • Hours are subject to change based on business demand.
