Overview

Banner Rehabilitation Hospital, in partnership with Select Medical, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic PRN in Peoria, AZ. This position involves performing general mechanical and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and functionality of the hospital's physical plant equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general mechanical and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Inspect, service, repair, and overhaul physical plant equipment.
  • Assist with maintenance and performance of preventive maintenance on all equipment.
  • Monitor operation and maintain refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, and hot water systems.
  • Analyze system operations and determine causes of problems or malfunctions.
  • Assist with installation and repair of plumbing, piping, and tubing.
  • Install and rebuild pumps, motors, and air compressors.
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical controls and circuits.
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to various systems.
  • Comply with safety procedures for hazardous materials.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of building maintenance experience required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance, repair, and safety procedures required.
  • Current and valid Driver's License required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Trade or Vocational School background preferred.

  • Shift: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm as needed.
