Overview

fairlife, LLC is a Chicago-based nutrition company that creates great-tasting, nutrition-rich dairy products. The Maintenance Technician - Utilities role involves supporting the operation, maintenance, and reliability of utilities equipment in an aseptic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain utilities equipment.
  • Monitor, maintain, and improve the reliability and performance of utility systems.
  • Perform work order repairs, preventive maintenance, equipment rebuilds, replacements, and adjustments, including complete documentation.
  • Manage and coordinate work performed by contractors.
  • Fabricate, modify, and innovate new or existing equipment to improve performance and reliability.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure good housekeeping standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan, analyze, and improve process quality.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in English: Comfortable with both written and verbal communication.
  • Post-secondary education or technical trade certification.
  • EPA 608 Type II or Type III Refrigerant Handling Certification.
  • Boiler Operator certification.
  • Industrial Refrigeration (Ammonia) certification.
  • Experience with precision maintenance tools and techniques.

  • Shift schedule: 12 Hour Nights from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM with a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.
  • Position location: Goodyear, Arizona.
