Overview

JMC Aviation is recruiting Aircraft Structural Assemblers for a client in Red Oak, Texas. The role requires experienced aircraft assemblers with a strong background in corporate aircraft and precision assembly skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform aircraft structural assembly and installation according to engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Drill close-tolerance holes and install manufacturing hardware, fasteners, and related components.
  • Safely operate various pneumatic and electric power tools, including drills, rivet guns, and torque wrenches.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions accurately.
  • Ensure all assembly work meets quality, dimensional, and safety standards.
  • Perform precision fitting, alignment, drilling, riveting, and installation of aircraft structural components.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following applicable procedures and regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Aircraft Assembler, Structural Assembler, or in a comparable manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Previous experience working on corporate/business aircraft is required.
  • Strong experience with close-tolerance drilling and aircraft manufacturing hardware.
  • Proficient in the use of pneumatic and electric power tools.
  • Ability to confidently use drills, rivet guns, torque wrenches, and related tooling.
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Candidates selected will complete a plate test to evaluate practical skills relevant to the position.
