Overview

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. is seeking Structural Welders for a project in Fayetteville, GA, focusing on installation, rigging, millwrighting, and maintenance for manufacturing and industrial markets across the Southeast. Hired candidates will be considered for benefits and paid time off after 3 months.

Responsibilities

  • Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding.
  • Lay out, position, align, and fit components together.
  • Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding.
  • Set up equipment and weld parts using various welding techniques.
  • Assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
  • Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
  • Rate information using measurable standards.
  • Detect, recognize and respond to dangerous conditions.

Requirements

  • Skilled in both written and verbal communication.
  • Complete all safety and general job training as required by SIC.
  • Observe SIC and customer safety and quality processes at all times.
  • Certification at one or more levels is required.
