Job Description

Overview

The TIG Welder position involves performing welding production activities according to work orders and production schedules, collaborating with the Production Manager and Inventory/Purchasing to meet daily production needs.

Responsibilities

  • Weld assemblies according to manufacturer's directions and specifications utilizing fixtures.
  • Assist in the development and creation of new fixtures for products old and new.
  • Complete work tasks as indicated by work orders and production schedules.
  • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Production Manager.
  • Complete Inventory and Production documentation.
  • Work in a safe and clean manner by complying with procedures, rules, and company policies.
  • Stage welded product in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Participate in cross-training by learning and teaching known tasks/positions.
  • Perform other duties and/or tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary.
  • 2+ years of TIG Welding experience.
  • Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan and execute.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Manufacturing experience desired.

Additional Information

  • Full-Time position.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday 8-hour shifts - 7:30am – 4pm.
