Overview

Wieland is a global leader in copper and copper alloy manufacturing, processing, and distribution, seeking skilled and experienced Welders for 3rd shift positions. The welders will be responsible for working from shop drawings and adhering to safety regulations while maintaining a clean and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare parts and tack and weld components into assemblies following production orders.
  • Execute welds in accordance with company procedures and documents, meeting defined quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
  • Properly maintain tools and equipment assigned to perform duties.

Requirements

  • Level I: 1–3 years experience or commensurate education from trade school.
  • Level I: Capable of MIG and TIG welding of parts and pipe, but not yet certified for welding of parts under pressure.
  • Level I: Ability to read and apply WPS and read drawings.
  • Level II: At least 3–5 years' experience in MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels.
  • Level II: Experience and certification in welding in accordance with ASME standard.
  • Level III: At least 5+ years’ experience in MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels.
  • Level III: Ability to train other welders.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fitting and welding components.
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork.

What you'll be running
