Continental Electronics Corporation is a leading provider of RF technologies and innovative solutions with 80 years of proven performance. The Assembler role involves performing a variety of electronic and mechanical assembly tasks while using various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of diverse electronic or mechanical production assembly tasks meeting high quality expectations.
  • Solder, assemble, route and secure wiring/cables into subassemblies such as panels and cabinets.
  • Work with hand tools and specialty tools as required.
  • Perform rework resulting from drawing change notices.
  • Cross-train as back-up in other areas of the manufacturing plant.
  • Develop working knowledge of the production environment.
  • Comply with manufacturing code of conduct.
  • Prioritize safety, quality, accuracy, and reliability of work performed.
  • Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • Report any quality problems or defects to management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years related wiring assembly experience.
  • Experience with electromechanical panel wiring, cabinet wiring, PLCs onto panel enclosures, and wire routing.
  • Ability to use and operate various computer systems and applicable software.
  • Ability to follow technical drawings and assembly instructions.

Additional Information

  • This position works second shift: Monday – Thursday 2:30pm-1:00am with some extended hours and Saturdays.
  • Bending, lifting and pushing up to 100 pounds (with assistance) is required.
