Overview

As an Installer for Fortress Modular Walls, you will be responsible for the on-site installation of modular wall systems in healthcare environments. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and teamwork, while representing the Fortress brand on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Install Fortress modular wall systems according to project specifications and installation manuals.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and installation plans.
• Safely use hand and power tools to assemble wall panels, doors, frames, and accessories.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including daily reports and field changes.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors, project managers, general contractors, and other trades.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe worksite in compliance with company and OSHA safety standards.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and assist in on-site problem-solving.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and inventorying materials as needed.
• Travel to various project locations, including overnight stays when necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of construction, carpentry, or modular installation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of construction tools and techniques.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to travel as needed.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and team-oriented.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work on ladders, and perform physical labor in varying site conditions.

Additional Information

This is a U.S.-based, field position. Candidates may reside anywhere in the United States and must be willing to travel extensively nationwide.
