Overview

As a CNC Machine Operator at Molex, you will play a crucial role in running CNC equipment efficiently to produce high-quality precision parts. The company values technical expertise and collaboration within a skilled manufacturing team dedicated to excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machinery and related equipment to produce precision components according to specifications.
  • Monitor machine performance and product quality, identifying and addressing deviations promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with maintenance and quality teams to troubleshoot issues and minimize downtime.
  • Assist in set-up, tooling changes, and calibration activities under supervision to support production runs.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance process efficiency, reduce waste, and improve safety.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including inspections, machine logs, and material tracking.
  • Adhere strictly to safety, quality, and environmental compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a CNC machining or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience reading basic technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Experience with machine operation, tooling, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with multi-axis CNC machines is a plus.
  • Experience with metrology equipment such as calipers, micrometers, or CMMs is a plus.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Basic programming or setup experience on CNC machines is a plus.
  • Certification or training in CNC machining, manufacturing safety, or quality systems is a plus.

Additional Information

  • Hiring Event on Thursday, September 24th from 8am to 12pm and 2pm to 6pm.
  • 1st Shift: 5:10am to 3:40pm Monday – Thursday.
  • 2nd Shift: 3:30pm to 2am Monday - Thursday.
  • Weekend Shift: 6:00am to 6:30pm Friday – Sunday, Monday 6am to 10am (optional).
  • 6% shift differential for 2nd Shift and Weekend Shift.
