Overview

The AMHS Installation Technician installs AMHS equipment and performs non-licensed installation support in a semiconductor environment. This role does not involve licensed electrical work, which is handled by qualified electricians. ABM is one of the world’s largest providers of integrated facility, engineering, and infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Install AMHS components per OEM/project drawings and torque to spec.
  • Install cable supports and routing hardware as directed.
  • Perform OEM plug-in equipment connections under supervision.
  • Assist with commissioning readiness checks and document findings.
  • Maintain cleanroom/ESD compliance and follow site safety requirements.
  • Support and coach junior installers and coordinate staging with the team.

Requirements

  • 3 plus years in automation/material handling/tool install or industrial electromechanical assembly.
  • Ability to read and follow OEM instructions and installation drawings.
  • Comfortable with lifts/ladders and strict safety/cleanliness requirements.
  • OSHA 10/30 and lift/fall protection certifications preferred.
  • Must pass background check and drug screening.
