Overview

The AMHS Installation Technician installs AMHS equipment and performs non-licensed installation support in a semiconductor environment. This role does not involve licensed electrical work, which is handled by qualified electricians. Responsibilities

  • Install AMHS components per OEM/project drawings and torque to spec.
  • Install cable supports and routing hardware as directed.
  • Perform OEM plug-in equipment connections under supervision.
  • Assist with commissioning readiness checks and document findings.
  • Maintain cleanroom/ESD compliance and follow site safety requirements.
  • Support and coach junior installers and coordinate staging with the team.

Requirements

  • 3 plus years in automation/material handling/tool install or industrial electromechanical assembly.
  • Ability to read and follow OEM instructions and installation drawings.
  • Comfortable with lifts/ladders and strict safety/cleanliness requirements.
  • OSHA 10/30 and lift/fall protection certifications preferred.
  • Must pass background check and drug screening.
