Overview

Cummings Electrical is hiring Journeymen Electricians for their Integrated Manufacturing facility in Arlington, TX. The company designs and builds custom, integrated, modular systems for various projects, offering a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Read in-depth blueprints (mechanical, layout/on-line drawings)
  • Determine size of pull box or J-box based on wires inside or passing through
  • Size wire based on amperage and voltage drop
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems (equipment, devices, conduit wires)
  • Bend and install 3” or greater conduit
  • Terminate inside of Transformers, Switchgears, Generators and UPS, Lighting control panel and Control Panels

Requirements

  • Active Journeyman License is required
  • Reliable transportation
  • Skilled in a commercial and/or industrial construction environment
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time during scheduled shifts
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, and climbing as required by job duties
