Responsibilities

  • Crear redes de fibra óptica de extremo a extremo.
  • Probar y solucionar problemas de continuidad en redes de fibra óptica.
  • Operar todo el equipo de prueba y ser hábil en la resolución de desafíos comunes en redes de fibra óptica.
  • Preparar cajas de empalme de fibra, como Tyco, Commscope, Corning, etc.
  • Utilizar empalmadoras por fusión y equipos de prueba OTDR.
  • Leer documentación y comprender niveles de luz y pérdida en dB.
  • Trabajar en sitios de construcción de servicios públicos al aire libre.

Requirements

  • Tener entre 3 y 5 años de experiencia en empalme de fibra y resolución de problemas.
  • Tener un historial comprobado de completar el trabajo con un alto nivel de calidad.
  • Tener facilidad para resolver problemas difíciles y disfrutar de un enfoque práctico en el trabajo.
  • Estar cómodo trabajando en una escalera o en un camión con canastilla.
  • Ser flexible y disfrutar de una variedad de turnos, incluyendo horas extra.
