Overview

Worley is a global company specializing in energy, chemicals, and resources, headquartered in Australia. The Specialty Welder position involves laying out, aligning, and welding various components to assemble structural forms according to blueprints and metallurgy.

Responsibilities

  • Install, modify, and make repairs to pipe, boilers, towers, exchangers, furnaces, and drums.
  • Set up equipment and weld either pipe, plate, or structural steel using arc, gas-shielded arc, or gas welding equipment.
  • Work from blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
  • Produce quality work with reasonable efficiency.
  • Perform simple piping installations and repairs.
  • Assist other mechanics.
  • Additional responsibilities not listed may be required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience.
  • Must be able to weld flux core.
