Job Description

Overview

COWI is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team, contributing to prestigious infrastructure programs in North America. The role involves managing projects from initial pursuit to completion and collaborating with various specialists in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks requiring broad knowledge in structural engineering, bridge engineering, or marine infrastructure.
  • Conduct structural analysis and design for reinforced and pre-stressed concrete, steel, timber, deep foundations, and earth retaining structures.
  • Manage projects or parts of projects based on expertise and experience.
  • Implement design best practices and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • Prepare and review calculations, engineering reports, and construction drawings.
  • Conduct construction administration activities and site inspections.

Requirements

  • M.S. or higher degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum of eight years of experience as a structural engineer.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E. or P.Eng.) license.
  • Experience in marine infrastructure, coastal engineering, bridges, or tunnels.
  • Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
