Overview

Fluidstack is focused on delivering civilization-scale infrastructure for AI, aiming to expand human freedom through powerful AI technology. They are looking for a Structural Engineer to design and engineer structures for fast fabrication and erection.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer modular units, equipment supports, and buildings designed for fast fabrication.
  • Own structural calculations and drawings, ensuring they are stamp-ready and detailed for the factory.
  • Design modules for shipping and lifting to survive transport conditions.
  • Standardize structural reference design for consistent site implementation.

Requirements

  • Experience designing structural steel for industrial or modular construction.
  • Ability to calculate connections and members cleanly.
  • Experience engineering lifting, transport, and erection conditions.
  • Ability to work with fabricators and understand shop capabilities.
  • Experience sealing or supporting sealed packages through permitting.
  • Bonus: PE or SE license, Tekla interface experience, seismic design depth, modular and skid structures.
