Overview

J&K Commercial Construction is a growing custom stainless-steel fabrication company serving various sectors in the Pacific Northwest. They are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator who values precision craftsmanship and enjoys unique fabrication challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings and shop blueprints
  • Set up and operate CNC press brakes for custom stainless-steel fabrication
  • Perform one-off and short-run setups for custom parts
  • Determine proper bend sequences and tooling for each project
  • Verify bend allowances and finished dimensions
  • Use precision measuring equipment including tape measures, calipers, squares, and protractors
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure exceptional quality and accuracy
  • Troubleshoot machine setups and make adjustments when necessary
  • Work closely with welders, fabricators, and shop personnel to keep projects moving efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Safely lift and handle materials up to 50 pounds

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of press brake experience
  • Experience forming stainless steel and other sheet metal materials
  • Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Pride in producing high-quality work
  • Dependable, punctual, and motivated
  • Valid driver's license
  • Basic computer skills
  • Willingness to obtain forklift, industrial safety, and CPR certifications after hire
