Overview

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a TIG Welder for 2nd and 3rd shifts in LaPorte, IN. The role involves production welding and repair of various equipment according to specified procedures and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform production welding and/or weld repair on castings, dies, molds, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment.
  • Follow weld procedures and customer specifications.

  • Starting salary is $27.07/hr, increasing to $28.39/hr after 12 months.
  • Training will be Monday-Friday on 1st Shift (6am-2pm) for up to 6 months.
  • After training, the schedule will transition to 2nd Shift (2pm-10pm) or 3rd Shift.
