Overview

Tower Eight Staffing Solutions is hiring an experienced Copper Pipefitter for a commercial construction project in the Tampa Bay area. The position requires strong skills in running, fitting, and brazing copper piping, and candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, fit, and install copper piping
  • Run copper pipe according to plans and specifications
  • Braise copper pipe and fittings
  • Properly prepare, clean, fit, and join copper piping
  • Install pipe hangers, supports, and brackets
  • Lay out piping runs and determine proper hanger locations
  • Read and understand construction drawings, blueprints, and piping layouts
  • Use levels and measuring tools to ensure proper pipe alignment
  • Safely operate hand and power tools
  • Work from ladders and lifts as required
  • Follow all jobsite and OSHA safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements

  • Previous commercial copper pipefitting experience required
  • Must have strong brazing experience
  • Must be experienced in running copper pipe and installing hangers
  • Ability to accurately measure, cut, fit, and install copper piping
  • Must have the proper pipefitting hand tools
  • Must be dependable and able to report to work on time
  • Reliable transportation to the jobsite
  • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Must be able to work safely on an active commercial construction site
