Turner Industries is a fully diversified industrial contractor headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA, with over 20,000 employees across the United States. They are seeking a Combo Welder in Cameron, LA, to lay out, fit, and weld various components to assemble structural forms.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated, cast, and forged components.
• Assemble structural forms such as tanks, pressure vessels, and building parts.
• Select equipment and plan layout for welding.
• Position, align, and fit components together.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack weld parts to secure them for welding.
• Set up equipment and weld parts using various processes.
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, and reassembling parts.
• Use cutting torch to cut materials and demo existing assemblies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of four years of experience in welding.
• Must be able to pass a weld test before being hired.
• Must be certified as a welder.
• Must comply with company and client job site safety requirements.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others.

Additional Information

• Non-exempt role; reports to the Foreman.
• Shift: Days 6-10's.
• Per diem available for those at least 50 miles from the jobsite.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation required.
