Overview

CNH Industrial is committed to innovation, sustainability, and productivity in advancing the work of farmers and builders globally. They are looking for a Welder to join their team, contributing to the development of products that enhance efficiency and success in agriculture and construction.

Responsibilities

  • Work from orders, blueprints, route and method sheets, and direction from supervisor.
  • Weld metal components as specified by layout, diagram, work order, welding procedures, and oral instructions using electric wire feed welding equipment.
  • Obtain welding fixtures and positioners from storage, identifying by part or tool number.
  • Weld beads of prescribed length, radius, and size to fasten elements securely together to meet specifications.
  • Weld elements to make regular and irregular, eccentric, and symmetrical weldments.
  • Vary amperage and voltage to obtain quality weld at maximum linear speed.
  • Obtain accurate angular, dimensional and spatial relationships by careful fixture positioning and checking of parts.
  • Strike arc to generate heat to melt and deposit metal from electrode to work piece.
  • Manually guide gun along weld line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement.
  • Weld in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions.
  • Clean or degrease weld joint or work piece using wire brush, portable grinder or chemical bath.
  • May cut metal plate or structural shapes using oxy/acetylene torch.
  • Overtime may be required in addition to occasional Saturday operations.

Requirements

  • 1 year of manufacturing experience and/or a certificate/degree in welding.
