Overview

Turner Industries is a fully diversified industrial contractor headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA, with over 20,000 employees. They are seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector for maintenance work in the Pasadena, TX area to ensure compliance with applicable codes and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, accept, and/or reject work performed in compliance with applicable codes and specifications.
  • Develop an understanding of the company quality control program and perform inspections.
  • Witness tests to determine the acceptability of work.
  • Perform audits to ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements.
  • Define corrective measures for problem areas and ensure implementation.
  • Maintain work performance records and inspection records.
  • Assure correctness of all documents.
  • Perform additional assignments as required.

Requirements

  • CWI highly preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in all aspects of welding.
  • Valid Drivers License required.
  • Hazard Communication orientation/test.
  • Turner Industries Group, LLC indoctrination.
  • OSHA approved corrective eye wear (Z87).
  • Job site orientation and safety requirements as required by the client.
