Responsibilities

  • Service aircraft, including mechanical work such as dismantling, overhauling, and repairing.
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance inspections.
  • Certify the quality of own workmanship according to maintenance manuals.
  • Connect/remove ground power and ground start units.
  • Push out/tow aircraft and perform guideman functions.
  • Sign mechanical flight releases and/or airworthiness releases.
  • Maintain knowledge of manuals and maintenance procedures.
  • Complete necessary forms and reports accurately.
  • Perform Foreign Object Debris (FOD) walks.
  • Clean work area and request parts.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand English.
  • Airframe and Power Plant License required.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in any weather conditions.
  • Availability to work extra hours as needed.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Must pass FAA criminal background checks.
  • Must secure appropriate airport security badges.
