Overview

As a Field Services Technician at Arcwood Environmental, you will provide field work support on site-specific jobs to meet project goals safely and effectively. The company has over 50 years of experience in responsible waste management, protecting people, communities, and the environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies and maintaining safe practices.
  • Prepares necessary supplies, tools, and equipment for transport to worksite.
  • Cleans and scrapes the inside of underground chemical storage tanks and prepares waste for disposal.
  • Provides demolition labor of contaminated buildings and operates excavation and filter press equipment.
  • Operates small hand tools and provides construction-related assistance during projects.
  • Decontaminates Company equipment and tools.
  • Loads, unloads, and samples drums; responds to emergency spills as needed.
  • Maintains the ability to travel up to 50% of the time to project sites.
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team.

Requirements

  • High-school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Valid Driver’s License (preferred).
  • Must be clean shaven to don a respirator for protection.

Additional Information

  • The position reports to the Field Office and is dispatched to projects in the region during the day.
  • Reports back to the office at the end of the day.
