Overview

The Zippertubing Company is seeking a Production Worker I for their manufacturing facility in Chandler, AZ. This role involves assembling products by hand, focusing on quality and precision, and requires experience in industrial sewing.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble materials by hand using good focus and hand-eye coordination.
  • Start up, operate, tend, and stop a variety of equipment including industrial sewing machines.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Understand and ensure conformance to specifications and stop any non-conforming parts or products.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Work to applicable performance standards.
  • Take instructions from supervisors and the production manager.
  • Adapt to changing work tasks as needed.
  • Report visual and audible equipment faults to supervisors.

Requirements

  • Production hands-on experience of 2 years or more (required).
  • Familiarity with automated equipment (preferred).
  • ISO, LEAN or other quality system experience (preferred).
  • Ability to read and understand drawings (preferred).
  • Criminal background check (required).
  • English language proficiency (required).
  • US work authorization (required).
