Overview

Aviocraft is a growing FAA-certified aircraft maintenance and repair organization dedicated to providing high-quality aircraft component maintenance, structural repair, and customer service. They are seeking a motivated and experienced Airframe Component Mechanic to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and test aircraft airframe components.
  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, service bulletins, and technical data.
  • Perform structural repairs on aircraft components using approved methods and materials.
  • Complete all maintenance documentation accurately and in compliance with FAA requirements.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas while following company safety procedures.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and Aviocraft quality standards.
  • Identify unserviceable parts and recommend corrective actions.
  • Work collaboratively with inspectors, quality personnel, and other technicians to meet production schedules.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high workmanship standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • FAA Airframe (A) Certificate preferred; (Not required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of aircraft maintenance or component repair experience (preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various shop environments.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Experience working in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station (preferred).
  • Sheet metal and structural repair experience (preferred).
  • Familiarity with aircraft component overhaul procedures (preferred).
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments and specialized aircraft tooling (preferred).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic.
