Overview

nVent is seeking a Multi-Skilled Manufacturing Operator to work across various manufacturing areas, operating automated welding equipment and production machines to create innovative electrical solutions. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced manufacturing environments and enjoy problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Operating automated welding and manufacturing equipment.
  • Rotating between multiple machines and production processes based on business needs.
  • Using forklifts and handling production materials.
  • Performing quality inspections and ensuring products meet specifications.
  • Troubleshooting equipment and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
  • Helping deliver high-quality products while maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • 2+ years of manufacturing, production, machine operation, warehousing, or related industrial experience preferred.
  • Experience operating forklifts and industrial equipment is a plus.
  • Machine operation and manufacturing equipment experience.
  • Ability to read and use measuring tools including tape measures and calipers.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensures that products meet CADDY quality standards.
