Overview

Join our dynamic team in our Assembly department where we assemble lawn and garden equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles fabricated metal components, subassemblies, products, or systems as specified by work orders, diagrams, or layout.
  • Performs machine and/or process operations using basic hand tools and other equipment that may be unique to the application.
  • Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
  • Works in a team or as an individual assembling small parts on a bench or conveyor based on prescribed methods.
  • Handles parts and sub-assemblies up to 50 pounds.
  • Assists other team members as needed.
  • Inspects tools and equipment for defects and notifies supervisor of any maintenance or repairs needed.
  • Ensures environment, health and safety rules and procedures are followed.
  • Maintains, organizes, and cleans work area.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
  • Must possess excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to perform basic physical tasks such as lifting 50 lbs and able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be flexible to work overtime as necessary.
