Overview

Aerzen USA Corp. is an international manufacturer of positive displacement blowers, hybrid blowers, screw compressors, and turbo blowers used in various essential industries. The Repair Technician I role involves disassembling and evaluating equipment, diagnosing issues, and performing repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Tear down and evaluate incoming equipment to assess damage and diagnose the cause.
  • Demonstrate good mechanical skills and knowledge of proper usage of mechanic’s tools.
  • Identify Aerzen products and understand their use for various customer applications.
  • Assemble Aerzen Products per company defined procedures with accuracy.
  • Perform repair/rebuild of Blower using basic rebuild kits.
  • Read and use equipment diagrams and checklists to repair per Aerzen standards.
  • Prepare written repair reports documenting the cause of failure and work performed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (GED) required.
  • Welding Certification (brazing, cutting, welding, plasma) required.
  • Forklift Certification required.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience related to mechanical, rotating equipment and/or engineer repair.
  • Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet usage.
  • Ability to use forklift, ladder, hand/power tools, and various equipment.
