Overview

Parker Hannifin is seeking an Assembler & Test for their 2nd shift, responsible for producing hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder products. The company is a global leader in motion and control technologies, committed to enabling engineering breakthroughs that lead to a better tomorrow.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily tasks to produce hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder products, including assembling, testing, detailing, and loading/unloading equipment.
  • Utilize various hand tools, specialty tools, and basic measuring equipment to complete assigned tasks.
  • Perform visual inspection of parts and review basic blueprints/diagrams to ensure components are manufactured according to specifications.
  • Review work orders for special instructions.
  • Complete various types of paperwork related to production reporting.
  • Perform required duties in accordance with safety guidelines and lean principles.
  • Clean equipment and work area.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Basic understanding of gauging/measuring devices required.
  • Basic blueprint understanding required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
