Overview

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, service, and test equipment to ensure performance to manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairs on equipment.
  • Utilize necessary tools to perform the scope of equipment repairs.
  • Maintain safety standards while performing equipment repairs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably with heavy construction or rental equipment.
  • Intermediate experience with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel, and gas engines.
  • Experience with Tier 4 engines and DPF, SCR, and EGR aftertreatment systems is preferred.
  • Intermediate understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods.
  • Diesel laptop and welding experience is strongly preferred.
