Responsibilities

  • Inspect, service, and test equipment to ensure performance to manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform routine service on equipment, including checking fluid levels and lubricating.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnosing of electrical and hydraulic systems and diesel engines.
  • Perform major and minor repairs on diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, and drive trains.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records on maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Perform novice level welding repairs (MIG & SMAW).
  • Support team goals and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a diesel mechanic with a construction equipment or rental background.
  • Proficient troubleshooting and diagnosing skills with electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience performing major and minor repairs on diesel and gas engines.
  • Must have necessary tools averaging $10,000+ in value.
  • Basic computer knowledge for service work orders and parts ordering.
  • TWIC or Safety Council OSHA Basic Plus certification preferred.
  • Mechanic experience with industrial pumps, power equipment, and HVAC is a plus.

Additional Information

  • Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Overtime Eligible).
  • Paid weekly with pay dependent on experience.
  • 7 Company paid holidays, 2 half days, and an additional paid day off annually.
