Overview

Grieve Corporation is seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join their stable manufacturing team. This role involves fabricating and assembling high-quality industrial ovens and furnaces in a clean and organized environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal and steel components.
  • Fabricate and assemble products according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
  • Weld materials ranging from 20-gauge sheet metal to 3/8" iron plate.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure work meets company standards.
  • Work efficiently to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the manufacturing team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of MIG and TIG welding experience.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints.
  • Experience welding 20-gauge sheet metal through 3/8" iron plate.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently while being a team player.
  • Stainless steel welding experience is a plus, but not required.

What you'll be running

This posting calls for MIG and TIG work. MIG (GMAW) feeds a continuous wire electrode through a shielding-gas nozzle. TIG (GTAW) uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode with filler added by hand, giving the operator the most control of any process. It is slow, demanding, and the standard for stainless, aluminum, and anything where the bead has to look as good as it holds.
