Overview

The Entry-Level Suit Technician at KBR will be responsible for testing and maintaining EMU Training Suits and components for various training events. The role involves collaboration with engineering and other personnel to ensure the proper functioning of hardware and support event deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance, assembly, testing, repair and processing of hardware to support various events.
  • Incorporates engineering changes and performs functional performance testing of EMU components.
  • Maintaining and repairing EMU Training Hardware as required.
  • Ability to work from drawings, schematics, equipment specifications, and test procedures.
  • Maintaining certifications to perform job functions.
  • Ability to work in various job-related databases, such as SARAH and On Base.
  • Perform NBL Safety Walk Through.
  • Able to operate a motor vehicle for delivery of hardware to various events.
  • Keeping Lead informed of current status of hardware to meet event/customer milestones.
  • Assisting team members with suit processing, including checklist verification.

Requirements

  • Must be able to perform physical activities.
  • Experience with Pressure Systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret Work Authorizing Documents (WADs) and mechanical design drawings.
  • Capacity to work in a team environment.
  • Must have a working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, Technical Training.
